Hello, my name is Rebecca Boyce and I am the friendly face behind My Wardrobe Mistress, here is a little bit about me...
After graduating from the London College of Fashion I decided on a career in fashion styling and writing for magazines and newspapers. As a stylist at the Daily Mail and the Fashion Editor at London Lite, I’ve reported on everything from London Fashion Week to the Oscars and have styled a wide range of shoots, working with models, celebrities and real people. Six years on, I have a great sense for what suits and flatters everybody, no matter what our shape, age, size or budget.
I pride myself on not being a style sheep, or a frightening fashion maven. As a curvy size 14, I know how to dress for my shape and have developed a signature look of flattering dresses – often vintage finds from charity shops or eBay – mixed with quirky accessories (belts and brooches are a favourite), high street basics and the odd designer splurge. Whether you’re a size 6 or a size 16, I can use my experience to help you find your fashion feet, too.
And I firmly believe that fashion should be fun – I don’t take it, or myself, too seriously.
